Andrew Crane

Andrew Crane is an American photographer currently working on his MFA at the Glasgow School of Art. Raised on the coast of Maine, he is drawn to quiet places of transition. His work melds scenes from the digital age with historical photographic processes and celebrates the virtues and foibles of our ever-changing relationship to our environments and communities.

After receiving his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015, he worked as an assistant in the world of architectural photography and as teaching assistant in the historical process lab of the Maine Media Workshops. He has taught workshops and exhibited across the United States and abroad.
